This weekend is all about experiencing the High Country, accommodation is at Bush Experiences’s Homestation Lodge http://www.bushexperiences.com.au situated high on the mountain side overlooking the Delatite Valley, the views are absolutely stunning and the serenity intoxicating.
The package includes 2 nights accommodation, all meals including afternoon nibbles, evening campfire (weather permitting), a full days touring to Craig’s Hut (refer to Day Tours for description) and then a shorter tour on the second day to the actual site of the iconic “jump and downhill scene” from the “Man from Snowy River”.
On arrival you will be greeted by and depending upon time of arrival a light evening meal will be served, we will the play the “Man From Snowy River” video to set the scene for next days tour.
A cooked breakfast and then it’s into our specially equipped 4wd vehicle for the days adventure. On return its sit back and relax a drink (BYO) and some nibbles before tea then a campfire if suitable. To complete the day we show the sequel film to the “Man From Snowy River”.
A more casual breakfast and then its back into the 4wd vehicle for a short cross country drive thru private property and then a walk to where the iconic downhill scene from the movie was filmed.
