Departing Mansfield
Visitor Information Centre at 9am our tour takes you
along the Mt Buller Road stopping at Merrijig to
view the area where many of the scenes for the film
“The Man From Snowy River” were filmed. |

Stirling Rd through
Telephone Box Junction to the challenging Howqua Gap
Track where the views are spectacular (don’t’ look
over the side!) The Howqua Gap Track winds it way to
the summit of Mt Stirling where passengers enjoy a
short walk. The tour then continues on to Clear
Hills and Craig’s Hut which was originally
constructed for the highly successful Australian
film The Man from Snowy River. After a sumptuous
lunch the tour then takes you down to the beautiful
Bindaree Falls before travelling back along the
Circuit Road to the Mt Buller Alpine Village via the
Corn Hill Track. A guided tour of the alpine village
is a highlight before the tour returns to Mansfield. |
