Departing Mansfield Visitor Information Centre at 9am this tour travels along the Mt Buller Rd stopping at Merrijig to view the area where many of the scenes of the film “The Man From Snowy River” were filmed. Continuing on we head for Mirimbah (gateway to Mt Buller) |

turning onto the Mt
Stirling Road where we leave the bitumen behind and
climb steadily towards Telephone Box Junction. Travelling along the Circuit Road we pass by King Saddle and stop briefly for a photo opportunity of the beautiful King Valley. We call in at Razorback Hut for a cuppa and cake before travelling to Craig's Hut. This hut was originally constructed as a location for the highly successful Australian film “The Man From Snowy River”. Craig's Hut is set on a grassy knob surrounded by snow gums, with panoramic views of the spectacular mountain ranges. The hut was rebuilt as a tourist attraction in 1993. After lunch we head for the summit of Mt Stirling to take in the spectacular scenery of the renowned High Country. Descending down the Howqua Gap we swing back on to the circuit road before heading for home via the Mt Stirling and Mt Buller Roads. Arriving in Mansfield approximately 4pm. The tour includes morning tea and barbecue lunch. Duration of Tour: approx 7 hrs. 9am - 4pm. $120.00 p/p (GST incl.) *Children (15 and under) half price.
