Summer in the High Country
 Summer in the high country is a new experience. The snow melts, revealing a vast horizon of breath-catching beauty including rugged alpine ranges and deep, mist-hung valleys. Enjoy fields of colourful spring flowers and glorious

summer sunsets. Victoria's high country is home to some of the world's most beautiful and unique wildlife. You may see wallabies, kangaroos, wombats, echidnas and perhaps a platypus. Lyrebirds, cockatoos, rosellas, fantails, falcons- even eagles may also be seen.

History
High Country Scenic Tours is a local, family owned and operated company based in Merrijig- an area that captured the world’s attention after the filming of “The Man from Snowy River”. The film, now regarded as an Australian icon, was filmed in the local area with the spectacular Victorian High Country as the backdrop.
